Singapore SME grants, in one place

Singapore funds dozens of schemes for small businesses and most go unclaimed, because the terms sit across a dozen agency sites and move every year. Here is what the 9 main schemes are worth, who qualifies, what they fund, and what is changing in 2026.

Figures are indicative and change. Confirm current terms on the agency page before you rely on any of them. This is general information, not financial or legal advice.

After one slice in particular? We break down the schemes that fund marketing, branding, and e-commerce work separately.

Frequently asked

Which Singapore grant should a small business start with?

For most SMEs the Productivity Solutions Grant is the easiest first claim: up to 50% off pre-approved software and equipment, capped at S$30,000 a year, with a light application. If you are running a larger transformation or overseas project, the Enterprise Development Grant covers up to 50% of qualifying costs instead. Both fold into the new EDGE grant in the second half of 2026.

What is the EDGE grant and does it replace PSG, EDG and MRA?

EDGE is the consolidation of the Productivity Solutions Grant, the Enterprise Development Grant and Market Readiness Assistance into a single scheme, announced for the second half of 2026. Until it takes effect the three existing grants still apply on their current terms, so a project you can start now is worth starting now rather than waiting for the change.

Which grant pays the most per employee?

The Career Conversion Programme. Salary support runs at 70% up to S$5,000 a month, rising to 90% up to S$7,500 a month for mature hires aged 40 and above or people unemployed for six months or more, which works out to roughly S$45,000 per trainee over a six-month programme at the enhanced rate. It also carries the heaviest paperwork of the schemes here.

Can Singapore grants be stacked?

Some can. The SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit is designed to sit on top of other support, offsetting up to 90% of your remaining out-of-pocket costs, up to a S$10,000 credit. Most project grants cannot fund the same cost twice, so plan the sequence rather than assuming everything combines.

Do these figures change?

Yes, and often. Support rates, caps and eligibility are revised at Budget and by the agencies through the year, and several schemes on this page have dated changes already announced. Treat this list as a starting map and confirm the current terms on the agency page before you commit to anything.
