Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 May 2026. By using HuntSales you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you (or the organisation you represent) and HuntSales ("HuntSales", "we", "our", "us"). By creating an account, clicking "I agree", or accessing any part of the service, you confirm that you have read these Terms, you have authority to bind your organisation, and you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use HuntSales.

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. The service

HuntSales is a B2B sales-outreach platform that lets your organisation discover prospects, run cold-email campaigns, manage a sales pipeline, and analyse engagement. The core features include:

  • Vault search - query our shared verified-contacts pool. Vault contacts are pre-loaded to your account based on your plan tier and remain in your CRM permanently after you claim them.
  • Live search - real-time B2B contact discovery. Charged per credit.
  • Campaign engine - sequenced email sending via your connected mailbox (Gmail, Outlook, SMTP, or your own ESP), with reply detection, A/B testing, and warmup.
  • Pipeline + workflow tools - contact management, tasks, deals, and automation.

We continuously improve the service and may add, change, or remove features. We will not materially reduce features paid customers rely on without at least 30 days' notice.

3. Account creation

You must be at least 18 years old, with the authority to bind your organisation, and using HuntSales for legitimate B2B sales purposes. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

One organisation may invite multiple team members under the same subscription, subject to the seat limits of the chosen plan tier. Each team member must agree to these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use HuntSales to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk email to recipients who have no business relationship with you, or messages that violate applicable anti-spam laws including CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), GDPR (EU), PDPA (Singapore), and any equivalent local law where your recipients are located.
  • Send content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, deceptive, or that infringes any third party's rights.
  • Send phishing, malware, fraudulent investment schemes, adult content, gambling promotions, or anything our deliverability team identifies as high-risk.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our Total Database or product source other than through the documented UI and API.
  • Resell, sublicense, or share HuntSales access with parties who are not part of your organisation.
  • Mass-export the Total Database or any portion of it for resale, redistribution, or aggregation into a third-party product.
  • Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.
  • Bypass rate limits, plan limits, or any technical restriction.

You are responsible for the content of every email you send, including obtaining recipient consent where the law requires it and including a working unsubscribe mechanism (we auto-inject one but you remain responsible for compliance). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe is in breach.

5. Subscriptions and billing

HuntSales offers a free tier and paid plans (Scout, Hunter, Apex, and any future tiers we add). Plan features and prices are shown at /settings/billing inside the app and on our marketing pages.

  • Billing cycle: monthly or yearly, charged in advance, processed by Stripe.
  • Currency: Singapore Dollars (SGD). Local taxes (e.g. GST) are added at checkout where applicable.
  • Auto-renewal: subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancel anytime from /settings/billing.
  • Refunds: we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused credits. If you cancel mid-cycle you retain access until period end.
  • Failed payments: if a payment fails we will retry several times. Persistent failure (typically 14 days) will suspend the account; you can restore it by updating the payment method.
  • Promotional discounts (e.g. launch pricing): we honour the discount for the duration we advertise. Discounts may end at our discretion, with notice. Existing customers locked-in at a discounted price keep that price for the term of their current commitment.

6. The credit system

Some HuntSales actions consume credits. There are two separate monthly credit pools - People Search credits and AI credits - and a balance in one pool cannot be used for the other. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable between organisations.

  • Vault actions (browsing, claiming pre-loaded contacts from your starter pack) are free and do not consume credits.
  • Live actions (real-time prospect search, email reveal, phone reveal) consume People Search credits at the published per-action rate.
  • AI actions (the Copilot, the AI email writer, AI search parsing, and AI reply classification) consume AI credits from the separate AI credit pool at the published per-action rate.
  • Plan allowance: each paid plan includes a monthly credit allowance. Unused plan credits do not roll over.
  • Top-up packs: both People Search credits and AI credits can be purchased separately as top-up packs. Top-up credits stack on top of your monthly plan credits and do not expire as long as your account is active.
  • Free tier: Free-plan accounts cannot purchase top-up packs and cannot perform Live actions beyond their monthly credit allowance.
  • Vault claim quota: each plan includes a quota of contacts you can claim from the Vault. Quota increases with additional seats and plan upgrades. Already-claimed contacts stay in your CRM if you downgrade.

Credit costs per action are subject to change with at least 30 days' notice. We do not retroactively re-charge for actions already taken.

7. The Total Database (data contribution)

HuntSales maintains a shared verified-contacts pool (the "Total Database") which powers Vault search. When you search, enrich, or import contacts in HuntSales, and you have the "Contribute to the shared verified-contacts pool" setting enabled (default on, transparently disclosed at signup), those records may be added to the Total Database for the benefit of all customers.

You can disable this contribution at any time in Settings → Privacy. Disabling it stops new contributions going forward; it does not retroactively remove previously contributed records (but you can request individual deletions - see our Privacy Policy).

Your own contact lists, campaign content, sent-email logs, and engagement analytics are never contributed to the Total Database and are never visible to other customers. The Total Database contains only standard business-context contact fields (name, work email, job title, company, location, LinkedIn URL).

By using HuntSales with this setting enabled you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, organise, de-duplicate, normalise, and serve the contributed contact data through the Vault to other customers for as long as you remain a customer, plus a reasonable retention period thereafter for integrity of the shared pool.

8. Your data

Subject to Section 7 (Total Database contribution), your account data, contact lists, campaigns, templates, and analytics ("Customer Data") remain your property. HuntSales accesses Customer Data only as needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

You can export your Customer Data at any time from the in-app export tools or by emailing hello@huntsales.io. On account closure we delete Customer Data within 90 days, subject to backup retention and any legally required hold.

You grant us a limited licence to use Customer Data solely to provide and improve the service to you. Aggregated and de-identified statistics (e.g. benchmark reply rates by industry) may be published in a form that cannot identify any individual or organisation.

9. Connected mailboxes and third-party services

When you connect a Gmail, Microsoft 365, SMTP, or third-party ESP (e.g. Resend, SendGrid) mailbox to HuntSales, your campaign emails are sent through that provider, not through HuntSales directly. The relevant provider's terms and sending limits apply to your activity through them.

You are responsible for keeping the connected mailbox in good standing with its provider and for any consequences (e.g. account suspension by the provider) of your activity through it.

10. Email deliverability and reputation

Cold-email deliverability depends on factors outside our control (your domain reputation, your sending volume, recipient engagement, provider algorithms). We provide warmup, throttling, suppression, and best-practice guidance, but we do not guarantee inbox placement, open rate, or reply rate.

We monitor sending patterns for abuse and may pause or rate-limit campaigns we believe pose risk to our sender reputation or violate anti-spam law.

11. Intellectual property

HuntSales, the HuntSales brand, logo, software, designs, templates, and documentation are owned by HuntSales or our licensors. These Terms grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service while your subscription is active. No ownership transfers to you.

Feedback you provide may be used by us freely without obligation.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not warrant that any contact data in the Vault or via Live search is current, accurate, or suitable for your purpose. Contact data reflects what was last captured and business contacts change over time; you are responsible for verifying suitability before outreach.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will HuntSales, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or reputational harm, even if advised of the possibility.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is capped at the greater of: (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) S$100.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HuntSales, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim, damage, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms or any applicable law.
  • Your campaign content or any email you send through the service.
  • Your misuse of contact data obtained via the service.
  • Any third-party claim related to your use of the service.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms in a material way (including any breach of Section 4 Acceptable Use). For non-material breaches we will give you a reasonable opportunity to cure.

You may close your account at any time from /settings/billing. On closure, your subscription ends at the next renewal date and access continues until then.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify customers by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after the change becomes effective constitutes acceptance.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property.

18. General

  • Entire agreement: these Terms (with the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us, superseding any prior agreements.
  • Severability: if any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver: our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger or sale.
  • Force majeure: neither party is liable for failure caused by events beyond reasonable control.
