Calling: which countries your team can call
Each workspace decides which countries its reps can call. Every workspace starts with Singapore only, and nothing changes until your workspace Super Admin changes it. The countries that can be turned on today are Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Other countries are added on request.
Who can change it. Only a workspace Super Admin. Go to Calling, open the Numbers tab and find "Countries your team can call". Tick the countries your team needs and press Save countries. Other members who can open the Numbers tab see the list but cannot change it, and reps see it through the calls they can and cannot place. In a workspace HuntSales runs for you under HuntSales as a Service, the HuntSales team manages the list. At least one country always stays ticked, and every change is recorded in the workspace activity log.
Countries and prices. The countries you can tick today, with their per-minute prices: Singapore (+65) US$0.047 per minute; Malaysia (+60) US$0.075 per minute; Indonesia (+62) US$0.130 per minute, Indonesia mobile US$0.165 per minute. Calls are billed in whole minutes, rounded up, from your calling credit, and the rate card on the Numbers tab lists every published price. Other countries appear in the list as "Coming soon, pricing pending" and cannot be ticked until their prices are published. If your team needs one of them, or a country that is not listed, contact support to request it.
Numbers without a country code. Under the list, "Numbers without a country code are read as" chooses the country a number saved without a country code belongs to, from the countries you have ticked. With Singapore chosen, a contact saved as 9123 4567 is called as +65 9123 4567. A number saved with its country code, such as +65 9123 4567, is always read as written. The setting applies to contact numbers and to numbers keyed into the softphone.
When a call is refused. If a rep dials a number in a country that is not ticked, the call is not placed and nothing is charged, and the softphone says why. If it is a country your Super Admin can tick, it asks the rep to have them add it, and tells a Super Admin where to tick it. If it is a country that cannot be called yet, it says so and points to support, for example: "Calls to Hong Kong are not available yet. Your workspace can call Singapore numbers only. Contact support if your team needs to call Hong Kong." Numbers are matched to the country they really belong to, so a +1 number in the Caribbean does not count as the United States or Canada. Premium-rate, satellite and special-service numbers are always blocked, whatever is ticked.
