Low calling credit alerts and auto top-up
Calling credit is your prepaid balance for talk time, inbound calls and AI call transcription. Dialling pauses when it hits zero, so it is worth knowing before you get there.
Set an alert: go to Calling, Numbers. Under the balance, tick "Email me when calling credit drops below" and set the amount. Workspace owners get an email and an in-app alert once when you cross that line, and again only after the balance goes back up, so it cannot nag you daily. Only the workspace owner can change it.
Auto top-up (where available): tick "Top up automatically when I run low", choose the trigger, the amount and how many times a month you will allow it, then accept the terms. We charge the card you last topped up with. You need to have topped up manually at least once, because that is how we get a card on file and know it works.
Safety limits that always apply, whatever you set: at most one charge every 6 hours, at most 10 a month, and never more than US$1,000 a month. The minimum auto top-up is US$25, because card fees eat small repeated charges. Three declines in a row turns auto top-up off and emails you. If your bank asks for extra verification we do not retry silently, we email you a link to approve that payment. Refunds and disputes remove the matching credit again, and a dispute turns auto top-up off.
Turn either off at any time in the same place.
